Schapelle Corby

So she (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schapelle_Corby) got 20 years in prison in Indonesia after being framed. And the Indonesian Judiciary being independent of the government, there's really nothing to do but move along...

Well, I suggest that indonesians vote off their political leaders, and that whoever appointed these judges end up officeless. Maybe, just maybe, the next ones will be a little more careful about their judicial appointments.

Now, why on earth would indonesians do that? Duh, because the rest of the world is not going to forget about this grave injustice. Oh, and incidentally because their tourism will just plummet, and not just from Australia.

The government of Indonesia has demonstrated its heavy-handedness. They can suffer the consequences.

Oh, by the way, congressman of mine, no money for Indonesia. Ever.
Yes. I understand, it's more complicated than that. It always is...

Ah, the world isn't fair, is it. Don't go to Indonesia, don't buy Indonesian products. (Why do you think I don't live in Texas anymore?)
